Common questions

What does a free initial consultation include?
We spend about 30 minutes reviewing your current situation, identifying any immediate issues, and explaining what an engagement would look like. There is no obligation and no charge for this first meeting.
How do you price your services?
All engagements are fixed fee, agreed in writing before any work begins. No hourly billing. No surprise invoices. The scope and price are clear from the start.
Do you work with businesses outside Winnipeg?
Yes. We serve clients across Manitoba and work remotely with clients in other provinces for federal matters. Document sharing is done through our secure client portal.
What accounting software do you support?
We work natively with QuickBooks Online and Xero, and can import from most other platforms. We are a QuickBooks ProAdvisor Gold partner and can set up or clean up your file as part of an engagement.
How far in advance should I contact you before tax season?
Corporate files are best started in January for a June deadline. Personal returns in February for April. We do take on new clients year-round but capacity fills quickly in March and April.
